TonyTV has performed recently on NBC’s New game show “IDENTINY”, with Host Pen Jillette.  This according to his website Tony TV.  Way to go TT!  I can’t wait to see it or see a tape.  And the show is actually pretty entertaining, fun stuff!

With many thanks to ronnie over at the Powder website message boards we have been pointed to many fine tidbits of information and juicy dish.

First: ronnie was there at the Key Club Show and was BACKSTAGE while the Dynamic Duo of Ninette and Phil X were being interviewed. The Powdermusicfan insider has even been given a short clip of what the taping looked like.

Ronnie also reports that the LAIS website hasn’t changed much since the initial posting of the interview. We will wait and send many positive vibes Glorianna’s way that her show gets picked up, and soon!

A new Reality TV Show called L.A. Indie Scene shot their pilot back in May 2006 at the Key Club in L.A. and Powder was their featured band for the pilot!

The same show. Exactly the same. Cut and Paste the same. Now I am not calling Pink a copycat. Pink has rode the wave of her career always being compared to other, more talented performers. Where they had inspiration, creativity, and spark, Pink has… um… a great ability to copy others work.

Want proof? Very easy. I have been a Powder fan for many years now and so have most people in the Los Angeles Music scene. If there is a don’t miss show playing in Hollywood or Los Angeles or even Chicago, Powder is the band being most mentioned. Ninette has taken Powder from an act, to a show, to a spectacle to behold.

Ninette and the Femmebots have been practicing hundreds of hours to get the balance and timing right so no one gets hurt while performing these dazzling aerial spectacles. Pink? Well, she sure can copy.

Another solo suspend by Ninette and Pink. Well, Pink is just kind of dangling there hoping not to fall on her head. Ninette, wow, what support and body strength to maneuver suspended upside down. More? Yes, there is more copying of the act. Try this…

They are the same move, exactly (what a cheap knock off though) the same. But who is executing it so much more visually stunning and graceful.

So there you have it, complete photographic evidence that Pink has lost whatever imagination she had and has resorted to copying much better and, in my opinion, much more talented, performers. Pink, your 15 minutes are just about over.

Powder is very close to inking a tour deal that will take them Back to the UK, Germany, Asia, and others. Maybe even down under.

Not sure what “very close” means at this time, but someone on the inside (NOT Powder) is telling me some very interesting things. Let’s see if this spook is for real or just jerking us around.

In the meantime, go to EVERY SINGLE POWER SHOW YOU CAN.
