I do not have account on it but i go there as a free user. so I was just wondering if that is illegal.I did not download any music but a video clip from coat west that was like 12 minutes. That clip was safe there was nothing bad in it.

Morgster is correct. Rapidshare itself is just a facility to store files which people can upload/download from. That in itself is not illegal.

However if the content which is placed there is copyrighted, then of course this is a different matter and deemed illegal.
