Learn all about Santa and reindeer
Perhaps it is undeniable alliterative appeal Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, which makes it the most famous and popular of all nine Santa's reindeer flight. Certainly does not seem so easy to find a catchy description similar to the others – Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen – as the name of the song.
The story of Rudolph's nose, the red light turned him into a prominent, appeared in 1939, when department stores Montgomery Ward distributed some 2.4 million leaflets with the poem as a story about "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer". It was written by Robert L. May which worked in advertising for the store or in a marketing department, which is used to attract more people into the store. When the book was reissued in 1939, sales increased More than 3.5 million copies. But it took a decade later, in 1949, the story really gained popularity when Gene Autry sang a musical version of the fable. As a Christmas song, is second in popularity to 'White Christmas. "
Rudolph, the ninth reindeer sleigh, which guides Santa's nose lit through the night, is now recognized as the song has been translated into over 20 languages and an animated film for television also based on history. Rudolph and his nose are sensitive also the subject of jokes and has generated more interest in reindeers which led to much research as Santa Claus and flying reindeer pulling his sleigh in the sky.
With the catchy rhythm of the words, the story of Rudolph also calls because of the moral lessons it contains. It is said that Rudolph was ostracized by the other reindeer, who laughed and teased him about his bright red nose. But a foggy night, when Dad Noel who care that may not be able to deliver their Christmas presents around the world, Santa saw him and asked politely if he stepped forward as leader of the "Guide my sleigh tonight. The bright red nose, after all, be very useful to light the way, Santa thought. Henceforth" all loved the other reindeer "and predicted, correctly, if it falls in history."
Among the moral teachings of history can bestow is that the attribute perceived as negative or as a person may be used for a positive purpose, or become an asset. It also makes the point that the individual must not let the behavior others as negative defined and limited expectations of what can be achieved. And it also illustrates how speed of opinions and attitudes towards a person can change.
The question still remains, however, when Rodolphe came. Commonly regarded as the son of Donner (or Donder), one of the eight original reindeer. However, the site Snopes.com rejects yet to say who lived in a reindeer village elsewhere, and there was seen by Christmas had already begun his journey on Christmas Eve to deliver gifts. And in a modern evolution of the story according to Wikipedia.com, an animation by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has filed a son named Robbie Rudolph. This son became the tenth reindeer.
It is also interesting to note that the idea of Santa's sleigh by reindeer has its origins in the poem "was the night before Christmas. "This poem tells the story of St. Nicholas, Santa Claus is calling his eight tiny reindeer by name, as mentioned above, just before entering the chimney of a house to start filling the stockings of a bag full of toys that his back.
